We're a vibrant community of artists who convene every Tuesday morning from 10-12 at Yate Bowls Club to celebrate our love for painting and drawing. Whether you're taking your first steps or you're a seasoned artist, all enthusiasts are warmly welcomed to join us in exploring the world of art and refining our skills.
Our gatherings are relaxed and supportive, devoid of any sense of competition. While we don't provide formal instruction or materials, we foster an environment where mutual assistance flourishes. Sharing insights and techniques is encouraged as we all strive to enhance our craft. You're invited to bring along your current artwork for constructive feedback from fellow members. We encourage everyone to utilize the meeting time for art-making and mingling with like-minded individuals.
Where and When We Meet
Join us every Tuesday morning from 10-12 (except August) at the Yate Bowls Club, nestled in the serene Sunnyside Playing Fields (Moorland Rd, Yate, Bristol BS37 4BZ). Our venue offers a welcoming and spacious environment conducive to creativity and collaboration. The modest fee of £4 per session covers room rental and associated expenses.
Waiting List Notice
Please note that due to space limitations at our meeting venue, we currently maintain a waiting list. However, as vacancies arise, we eagerly welcome newcomers to experience a "taster" session. Simply reach out to Mike Hayward via the provided link for further details.
