Cassiobury Park (1748)

We take our name from our proximity to Cassiobury Park, the principal public open space in Watford, at over 190 acres.

The area occupied by the park was formerly part of the estate of the Earls of Essex. The house was demolished in 1927 and the quaint, castellated entrance gates on the Rickmansworth Road were removed in 1967 to make way for a new traffic system! (You can learn more about Cassiobury Park by going to the LINKS page).
